A joyful moment

I love the sense of calm one gets from this piece. The soft light, the choice of black and white, the model’s pose, her quiet demeanor juxtaposed against the backdrop of her backside in that outfit just hanging in the air. The conflict here for the viewer is the sensuality being downplayed by her nonchalant ‘sleepiness’ and how that keeps this piece from being a mere reactionary shot and more of a work of art. She tries to tempt the viewer while still catching up on her sleep. This in itself is entertaining, but we are happy to have so much rolled into one little shot and have everything come together perfectly. Well done! An excellent example of tasteful sensuality.
